REVIEW: Pool Boy Events NYC's "Banya Monday"

Hey guys -- one of my blog readers tipped me of to this men's spa in Queens that has a clothing option gay men's night. Sounds like a blast -- or could be. All the best part of the gym without the weights or lifting. Anyway, dudes, another reader checked it out last week, and here's his report...

"Hi, Evan. Great blog, really helpful to find parties. thx. Here's a review of Bana Monday: Went a couple of weeks ago, was there 5pm to 10pm. 10 guys when I arrived, about 25 when I left but people came and went so maybe 30 to 40 different guys total.

Totally different scene from the selective parties, it's a men-only day at a regular spa. Bright lights, no smoking, music not too loud. It says it's not a sex party but by later evening there was plenty of mutual JO and a little sucking. Earlier just discrete JO under the jacuzzi jets -- like it's not permitted -- but by about 9pm out in the steam room and dry sauna too, which got packed 10-15 guys jacking & touching in the extreme sweaty heat. Would have been more fun earlier if there were more guys.

It's a men-only day held at a mid-range spa, not a gay sauna, and has pretty good facilities: steam room, two large dry Scandinavian style cedar saunas (one is really really hot), big jacuzzi and a small swimming pool. Everything except the pool was squeaky clean, pool was cloudy. They also have a lounge room they kept dark for people who like the back room feel but it was mostly empty. Most of the guys are out in the well lit spa areas so it's easy to strike up a conversation and be social.

All ages but mostly middle aged: 3 or 4 in their 20s, mostly 30s to 50s, and a quarter who looked like they came from a nursing home but thankfully kept to themselves. All body types too at every age: a handful who were built or lean hotties who could be at a highly selective party, the rest ranged from OK to waaaay out of shape. At least one-third bears but friendly not pushy types. People wore towels or robes around the spa, naked in the jacuzzi, and in the sauna rooms
the towels came off.

So-so for the sex but great if you like to stare at well-lit cock, enjoy hotel saunas, and have always wanted a little JO in a packed steam room."
