The Fall of One and the Return of Another: MATRIX MONDAYS and EARLY RELEASE

After hearing unconfirmed rumors for a couple of weeks, I am sad to say that I have gotten the official word from the hosts of Matrix Mondays that the spa where they hosted the parties has been closed down (apparently for good) and, therefore, Matrix Mondays is cancelled until further notice. My best wishes to them for finding a suitable location soon, as I know this party certainly had its fans. I have gotten quite a few emails in the past week or so that were filled with anguish and woe asking me “What happened?” Honestly I have no idea regarding the specifics and would be lying if I were to say I wasn’t a wee bit curious myself. I only went out to this spot once and was hoping to do so again as I had a good time so I am sad to see it go. I hope something else rises up to replace it soon. 

Speaking of rising up, (and I am very much about rising up) while we may mourn the fall of one popular party (at least for now), I am happy to see the return of another, the Early Release hotel parties. I attended a few of these when they were originally done a few summers ago and I always found them to be a hot time, so I’m happy to see that they are finally making a comeback. 

What I always liked about these parties was the high level of sexual energy at them. The hosts would cram an interracial group of about 20 fit guys into a small hotel room and when you get that many guys in that close proximity to each other, it can sometimes start off a little awkward yes, as the sexual tension builds, but ultimately there is no way that it is not going to eventually erupt at some point or another (with a lot of guys individually erupting as well of course). With all that body heat and friction things do get hot in there in more ways than one, so those of you who have an adversity to man-sweat are going to want to sit this one out. Also be aware that these parties are shorter than most, so don’t arrive too late or you may miss most of the action. They tend to burn hard and fast and then are done as quickly as they got started. 

The hosts are doing things a little different this time around in that instead of Early Release having its own independent invite list, the hosts are throwing it as a Midtown option for their Men’s Den members, so you will have to sign up and be approved as a Men’s Den member through their website in order to attend.
