THE PLAYGROUND (Garment District) - Review

I heard about this new party -- THE PLAYGROUND -- which is held in the Garment District. Never been, but a friend went this week, and sent in this review.

The Playground. I decided to check out The Playground based on the description that it was 'strictly for fit, athletic men.' A strict door policy - good. Too bad it was not enforced - at all. I was there from about 1 a.m. - 2 a.m. There were around 15 guys there. NONE of whom were fit or athletic. And many were definitely closer to the 45yo end of the spectrum. I actually felt out of place as the only young, fit, athletic guy there. Additionally, it was really dark - too dark. I was disappointed and overall did not enjoy the party. On the plus side, it is still a new party, the vibe was chill and guys were having fun. But beware of false advertising! This party is not 'strictly for fit, athletic men.'
